Key Responsibilities

- Foster strong relationships with media contacts and effectively manage public relations initiatives.
- Collaborate with marketing, product development, and leadership teams to ensure clear messaging across all platforms.
- Conduct research and gather insights that inform communication strategies and identify opportunities for improvement.
- Monitor and analyze media coverage and public perception, providing timely reports to senior management.
- Lead crisis communication efforts and develop strategies to mitigate risks to Amazon’s reputation.
- Assist in the planning and execution of events and community engagement initiatives, promoting Amazon's leadership in corporate responsibility.
Qualifications
To succeed in this communications job, we are looking for someone who meets the following qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in communications, public relations, marketing, or a related field is required. A Master’s degree is preferred.
- Experience: At least 5 years of experience in a communications role, preferably in a corporate, agency, or high-growth technology environment.
- Skills:
- Outstanding written and verbal communication skills with an exceptional ability to create engaging content.
- Proficient in using communication tools and software, including social media platforms.
- Strong analytical skills to evaluate the effectiveness of communication initiatives and strategies.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and interact effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
- Experience in crisis communication and reputation management is a plus.
- Location: Must be willing to work in Mountainburg, Arkansas, and occasionally travel for events and meetings.
